You’re welcome to drop your frame in to us, have it dropped in, or use the courier of your choice. Otherwise you can get it to us using Australia Post, or have us organize a door-to-door pick up & return for you… Australia wide.
Australia Post
We receive frames via Australia Post every day and from all over the country. We’ve always found them both efficient and safe. We suggest you simply get a cardboard bike box (usually free from any bike shop because they are eager to get rid of them) and cut it down as per the photo to the right. If you don’t cut it down the Post Office will most likely “cube” it for freight purposes and charge you 2-3 times more than is necessary.
Remember… make it as small as possible and you will probably find it costs less than $20 to get your frame to us from just about anywhere in the country. Typically, a well-boxed frame will cost $12-18 from most capital centres, but your local Post Office may still want to “cube” it and charge more. It’s up to you whether you pay that or try another Post Office.
Door-to-door pick up & return
Price varies depending on your location and the size of your boxed frame and while the box does NOT need to be cut down for this service, please remember the smaller the box the cheaper the freight. To organize this service, please call with pick-up address and dimensions of your box (length, height and width). We do the rest entirely.
PLEASE NOTE
Regardless of how it’s being sent, please ensure your frame is boxed so as to protect it adequately – we will be using the same box to return your pride and joy - and note that unless organized by yourself there is no insurance cover during transport either way.
And please don’t forget to enclose your return address and full contact details including phone numbers… we may need to call you when your frame arrives to discuss the repair and we’ll definitely call you the minute your frame is ready to go home again.
Returning your frame to you
You’re welcome to pick up your frame or it can be delivered anywhere in the country. We return all frames via courier and we need an actual street address for delivery (home or work, but no PO boxes). If there isn’t going to be anyone available to sign for it we need simple instructions as to where it can be left (“may be left at front door”, “back door”, “next to rubbish bins” etc), but PLEASE NOTE, having a frame left without signature is entirely your responsibility… if you’re not comfortable with the security of this arrangement please ensure your return address will have someone there to sign for the frame. Items needing re-delivery (in other words there was no one there to sign and no delivery instructions were provided) may be charged a second delivery fee.
