We can make and fit fully-welded disc mounts to just about any frame you can throw at us… hardtail or full syspension, in Aluminium, CrMo, steel and Titanium.
Most people are only going to need this for a frame with vertical dropouts, but we can fit slotted disc mounts to frames with horizontal dropouts too.
And we can even fit disc mounts to some front forks - but ONLY to rigid forks and ONLY if they’re CrMo or Steel - don’t ever let anyone near Aluminium forks with a welder unless you’ve got really good health insurance!
PLEASE NOTE
In most cases, when we fit disc brake mounts we also fit a small gusset between the seat and chain stays. This is to lessen the effect of the rotational forces being applied to your frame. Both the mount itself and any gusseting we fit is individually designed for each and every frame… we don’t just weld on a mass produced brake mount made for $1.20 in some 3rd world factory and hope it works OK.
