So often, shock mounting hardware is a poorly fitting “bolt”, running through “top hat” reducers… just like what you can see in the top photo to the right. This is what’s supposed to hold the eyelet of the shock absorber in exactly the right spot within the frame’s shock mounts or rails. Anyone who has ever stripped down the rear end of their dually knows how often large amounts of play develop in that system.
We can make you a set of hardware that uses a solid CrMo pin right through the shock eyelet (no tubular sleeve) and either alloy or brass “spacers” on either side to locate the shock in the mounts/rails (rather than “top hat” reducers which are so prone to wear).
It’s serious… and it’s bullet-proof.
